Life faces five different people who lost their homes and were forced to escape from the war.

SYNOPSIS

ALBERT 25 y.o., likes his carefree life. He ignores the efforts of his father FEDOR who wants to find him a decent job. Albert prefers to hang out with his friends. Albert meets his friend TIMA, who tells him about the events which happened in the town nearby - riots involving military. Tima decides to join volunteers and Albert goes with him. Albert and Tima get under fire. While Albert is disoriented and confused, he gets wounded. Thinking that Tima is already dead, Albert runs to the forest.

Radio host KARYNA does everything to become the main voice of the radio station. Karyna complains about the editor girl, who brought the news about the riots because it doesn’t match the format of the radio station. The BOSS praises Karyna. She calls her mother to tell that she’s got a promotion but her mom is busy and doesn’t want to talk.

An elderly man MYKOLA holds a grudge against his daughter and does not let his wife NADIYA to visit her and gradndaughter in Kyiv. Mykola is afraid to stay alone with his fear of old age. One night the shell hits and breaks the roof of Mykola’s house. Nadiya dies.

The fifth grader MARK wants to make friends, but classmates mock him. His father YEVGEN, a teacher of physical education, gives all of his attention to his students. Hiding from classmates in the woods, Mark stumbles on wounded Albert. Having courage, Mark brings him home. At night, the city is bombarded.

Fifteen-year-old MARTA tricks her strict parents and persuades her best friend YEGOR to help her get to the party. There, Marta flirts with a high school student there and neglects Yegor. But he rescues her from the explosions.

The world, once was full of everyday problems and carelessness earlier, becomes filled with anxieties due to deaths in war.

Mark persuades his parents to take Albert; all together they leave the city. Mark sees Albert as a hero, and cares about him as a brother. But Mark's father makes Albert leave them as soon as possible.

Karyna learns about the victims understands the seriousness of the situation. Karyna dares to tell on air about the beginning of the war. She is being threatened with dismissal from work. Karyna creates a relief organization for refugees. The new sound engineer Denis comes to help.

Mykola buries his wife and goes to his daughter and the granddaughter to Kyiv. Mykola affects to his granddaughter ALISA. She manages to melt his blackened heart.

Martha moves to a safe place with her parents. Martha keeps away from her new classmates and misses Yegor and decides to find him.

Albert finds his parents who have lost all their savings. Albert feels guilty for leaving the friend and also the responsible for his parents awakens in him. He gets a job and falls in love with a girl colleague. Albert decides to forget his past. One day he receives a letter from a military hospital...

Mykola quarrels with his daughter because of his complex nature. It creates a gap between him and Alisa. Mykola goes to the station, hoping to buy a ticket to his native village. But he learns that all the trains have been canceled. Near the station Mykola meets with Albert by chance.

After a casual conversation, Mykola and Albert rethink their attitude to their family. With a new understanding, Mykola decides to apologize to his daughter and become a good support to her.

Mark’s ew classmates make fun of him and ask for fight. Mark wishes them to go to the real front. Then he accidentally becomes a witness to the problems at his father’s new workplace. Mark intercedes for him in front of his colleagues. Then father decides to help Mark to make friends and teaches him how to play a football.

Learning about organizing which helps in finding the refugees, Marta goes to the city where Karyna lives. Impressed by the courage of a young girl, Karyna reveals a desire to take care of Marta and help her find a friend. Anonymous people threaten Karyna to close the organization. Now Karina has to protect not only herself. Meanwhile, Yegor, goes to search for Marta, hoping to find her alive.
